ELF Haul Review :') See my Hits & Misses + Have I found a Dupe for Bareminerals??

Similar to my most recent MUA Haul ( http://tinyurl.com/prlb7t8 ) Elf had a fantastic offer of 40% off every shop with a special code (they advertise them freely on their website, so, be sure to have signed up to their mailing list and check their site regularly!) So I had to get a little Haul ^.^

Everything I bought out on the grass :')

I bought the Flawless Finish Foundation, Personal Blend Foundation, Duo Cream Eyeshadow in “Coffee & Cream” and “Olive”, Shimmer Palette, Cover Everything Concealer, Hypershine Gloss in "Vixen", Shimmering Facial Whip in "Spotlight", Luscious Liquid Lipstick in “Baby Lips”, Lip Shine in "Honey Do", Studio Pigment Eyeshadows in "Magical Maroon" and "Naturally Nude".

Concealer, Foundation & Honey Do Lip Gloss Swatches
Foundation: My first annoyance is that it is way too dark, though it's the second to last colour (Porcelain was out of stock and I usually stay away from the name as it suggests a pink undertone). Very annoying-though it does have a nice yellow tone that matches my skin, so I don't look tooo out of place :). It did cover but only after a VERY good shake and mix, so, please shake it before you use it. I had to use quite a bit to get more coverage the first time-but the second time I needed hardly any (suggesting it just takes a good mix and shake). It doesn't last overly long though...maybe 4 hours? Rather disappointed with that, though its worth noting that the packaging is very nice and the pump of good quality. It did start with having the semi-matte finish it promises along with even-ing out skin tone but it does not last all day. Overall: D –will be good for those who don’t need/like a medium-heavy coverage/good for photoshoot as it looks perfect for about 10 minutes.

Cover Everything Concealer: This comes out a LOT lighter than it looks in the pot, this is a good concealer, nicely pigmented. It does cover everything well, but! It’s too light and brightening for spots really, I found myself covering spots with the concealer (after applying foundation) then applying a swipe of foundation over the top to make it a tad darker (The problem worsened by the dark foundation). Though, it did last very well (considering the heat and the slide-y foundation). It does do everything it promises on the box! but maybe next time I'll buy medium instead of light. Overall: B (worth the money, just make note it’s very light-I would’ve preferred something more skin coloured-great for under eyes though).

Superglossy Lip Shine “Honey Do”: The first thing I noticed-even when I opened up my package-was a very strong fruity smell. That was from this! WOW DOES IT SMELL! It’s not a nasty smell like the Hypershine, but it is fake and a bit overpowering. I am not totally sure if I liked this product as I don't think I have ever used a gloss so THICK-but it wasn't sticky or gloopy! It wasn't very pigmented at all but did have a nice shine to it. Plus, it was long wearing :) Overall: C (not enough pigmentation for me and I couldn't stand the smell for more than a minute :S)

Personal Blend Foundation: This is a mineral powder foundation. You get 4 colours which you can mix and match (I like to just mix them all together). The shades are quite different between them but once blended together do not make a HUGE difference of your actual skin colour (unless you only use the two darkest shades). The actual powder is quite nice, blends nicely-isn’t matte after 2 hours though :/ (but it is only meant to be a mineral foundation-I don’t think it’s meant to be matte) It does feel weightless & I like using it atop sheer liquid like a tinted moisturiser (which are slightly too rich and shiney for my skin) It is true to the colour shown in the powder (so be wary, it’s not that sheer!) which means it has a nice medium-full coverage (if you like to build) without looking cakey, if anything I thought this is just like Bare minerals Powder XD I am pleased with this but I do have a REAL annoyance with the packaging!! It's so difficult to get the bloomin' powder out with the silly little strainer thing it has on it. I am not very pleased with it at all-They definitely could've made this better-I just took the sifter out. Overall: A* (After using for a week, I'd say this is a DUPE FOR BAREMINERALS. NO JOKE. See my Bare minerals makeover and review here: http://tinyurl.com/brf7t6x )

(Pictures of my whole made up face are at the end :) )

Shimmer Palette (First 4) Shimmering Facial Whip (last-spotlight)

Shimmer Palette: I have worn this palette NON-STOP for the last week and a half now. I LOVE it, they're so creamy, so dreamy! So soft but are very highly packed with shimmer so be warned!-A little goes a long way. It dries to a gorgeous shimmer on the face and stays really well. It doesn't move very much around your face so your pores won't end up being like the Blackpool illuminations (which is always nice :)). The different colours are not that noticeable in the swatches but on the face are and I feel it adds really nicely to the look your wearing (Today, I am wearing a Pink and White Eye with the new Sleek Candy Blush by 3-Dolly Mix-and So I used the deeper pink shade of the palette on my cheeks and it really just ties it all in). Overall: This is most likely my new FAVOURITE product from this haul A*

Shimmering Facial Whip: I wore this to Kelly’s Wedding Reception (makeup post here: http://tinyurl.com/lgj4wkg) and I really like it! It’s very pigmented so you only need a tiny amount. It lasted all night looked really pretty (didn’t move and make me look really shiney elsewhere). I can easily compare this with MAC’s – and Benefit’s Highbeam type products. Overall, I am so pleased with this: A* -GO BUY IT! XD

Cream Eyeshadow Duos
Look How Pretty it Looks!!
Cream Eyeshadow Duo “Olive”: At first I was thinking Nars' Paramaribo (as I almost always do with a green eyeshadow duo :P) But I was so disappointed with this! It pretty much creased as I put it on!! (I even had a good-well trusted-primer on!) Also, on my hand it was swatched all pretty and green and brown, but when put on my eyes all sort of merged into a bronzeyy colour (which was nice, but if I wanted that I would’ve bought that!)
Olive...Apparently...
Cream Eyeshadow Duo “Coffee & Cream”: This was a similar story, unfortunately...It just creased (not as quickly as Olive nor did it merge as quickly as Olive...but it did crease) It also did merge into one weird colour. Not very happy. Swatches beautifully but on the eyes (even with UD Primer Potion) Goes EVERYWHERE but where you want it... Overall rating: E (after trying these and the Jumbo Eyesticks....is there any point me bothering with the studio cream eyeshadows?? :L)

Coffee & Cream Duo, slightly better than Olive...
Studio Pigments above, 2 Lip products below
Luscious Liquid Lipstick “Baby Lips”: This colour is gorgeously nude and glossy. It had a nice minty smell and was not sticky at all. It wasn’t very noticeable on the lips but I am not sure if that’s because I picked a colour very close to my own lips shade. It didn’t feel heavy and lasted well and like stated on the packaging-was soothing! I am not totally sure if it softens or hydrates but the tops of my lips did feel soothed from their hay fever stinging. It did last well too (only to disappear after 3 hours cos’ of my drinking out of a mug). Also, as this is called a “liquid lipstick”….I wouldn’t call it that, I’d call it a gloss! This didn’t dawn on me until I started writing this, as I liked it so much, I didn’t realise that when I first bought it I assumed it’d be a lipstick form. Overall: B (just wish there was a more punchy colour).

Hypershine Lipgloss “Vixen”: This was a lovely colour but quite sheer so I had to use a lot to get my desired effect, I think I’ll pop a lipstick underneath next time to amp up the colour a bit. It did however, have a very wet-look shine and was a nice wearable colour. My only real complaint is that it has an awful smell! This does fade quickly (thank god) But it can be a real turn off to me picking it up :S. Overall: B (Wish it was more pigmented & smelt nicer :L).
Pigment Eyeshadow "Naturally Nude": These pigment eyeshadows are so richly pigmented :') The only thing I dislike about these is the annoying packaging, you need to take the sifter out as it does not let ANYTHING through and that is....really, really annoying D: (similar to the Personal Blend Mineral Foundation's packaging). I do love the actual product though. They almost look duo chromed/multi-tonal. Naturally Nude is gorgeous on the eyes on it's own though be warned, the swatch on the website is a LOT lighter than it is in person, in real life it's a deep gold.
"Magical Maroon" is a lot darker- I was hoping it would be a tad more Burgundy. That's just my own preference though, it's still a gorgeously pigmented dust. The formula is quite thick though, so, be wary that it can be a bit grainy and tough on lids at times (especially on the sensitive hay fever suffering eyes at the moment). Considering they're a pigment, the fall out isn't too hard to clear up, nor does it come as a surprise we have fall out. Overall: A -very nice product, I will be buying other colours after I come back from Holiday! XD
Magical Maroon Lining my eyes.

Full Face with Flawless Finish Foundation, Olive Cream eye duo, cover everything concealer, vixen hypershine lipgloss & a light dusting of personal blend powder.
Flash on, Dark(ish) room

Smiling!?

BRIGHT LIGHT ROOM!
Full Face with Personal blend foundation (over moisturiser only), Honey Do Lip Gloss, Coffee & Cream eye duo, Magical Maroon pigment (lining eyes), Shimmer Palette & cover everything concealer.
Flash On, Dark Room
Flash On, Light/Brighter Room (very overcast day)
Flash Off, Light/Brighter Room (very overcast day)
Overall, I am pleased with my haul I had 3 misses, 4 hits and 2 mehhs. Not bad really! Plus, I just love trying out new products so it's not like it was a chore to do this :) I am intrigued now as to whether elf actually make any eye products I'll like (apart from the pigment of course!) so when they next have an offer I'll make sure I buy lots of different eye stuffs :) Thanks so much for reading this guys! xxx

Pirate Party! ooo-ARRGGGGHHH!

Nicki is having a "Pirates Vs Mexicans" Party for her Nineteenth, so I am as going as a Pirate and Ed is going as a Mexican. As a group, we LOVE pirates (I am talking long hair, beards, guns and swords, rum-drinking, cool type pirates) and so this party is Ace for us! haha! Now when I was first thinking about my outfit I thought ooh I can buy a really pretty one off of eBay and after talking to Ed about it, I thought actually, Alestorm (a Pirate metal band) would be proud of me if I dressed as an awesome rock-chick Pirate!

So, this is what I am planning on wearing...

My Pirate Outfit!

Everything is actually from Primark! Haha, I swear most of my clothes are... o.O But I love it! haha so, yeah, all I did was grab some cheap leggings (black and white stripey seemed quite pirate-like :P) and Thought oooh a Floaty Blouse tucked in will look great!

Without the Waistcoat

Rings
I cannot decide which ring to wear though....I'll probably see how I feel on the day :) I really think the Far Left (that almost covers the whole finger!) would be perfect...that or my Pearl Pair.

Now to decide on a bandanna...
Shoes :)

If I wear my Red Snakeskin Boots, chances are I'll wear my red Bandanna, but, If not then I'll probs wear my Black Cowboy Boots. We'll see... XD

And this is the Make-up Design I've done :D
Pirate Makeup Design

As you can see, this look is quite Dirty in that, Pirates were dirty, so I'll be using quite a bit of benefit's Hoola matte bronzer all over the face to not only contour but to make me look a little like I haven't washed in a while....But! In a sexy way....course ;) I'll probably layer it with some Nars' Laguna to create a more multi-tonal contoured look.

The eyes are quite red based, this is because red/brown etc are quite pirat-ey colours to wear, so this look is all about smokey, smudged up brown eyes framed with gorgeously thick lashes (crackin' out the falsies I think). The brows aren't overly strong and that's because I just want them neatly groomed but natural as no Pirate Lass would've had too much time to go over her brows in the mornin' before making prisoners' walk the plank! haha! :D

The lips are going to be the main focal point, they need to be red as red can be, hence I am using Mac's Ruby Woo (riri woo is exactly the same) and line with black kohl underneath for a more dirty, pronounced look.

This is rather exciting as I do love dressing up / making different makeup looks, so, I am really looking forward to rocking this look XD If you'd like to see some of my other looks here's a couple:

52 Weeks of Delicious Nails 10.6.13 First Attempt at the whole Water thingy...

I was YouTube surfing, as I very often do to avoid revision, and I found myself looking at Nail Polish collections and then clicked onto a video about "Water Marble Manicure"... y'know what these are, when you get a cup of water, tape around your fingers, drop your nail polish in the water and swirl your nail in and you end up with a totes gorge marbled nail. Well, this is actually a bit difficult than it looks-to get something that looks nice anyway :P

To be fair, I only had to re-do two nails, so I wasn't too bad at it >.<

I used Barry M's Nail Paint number 66 -a complete white shade, for the base colour & then dropped in Model's Own Beach Party (a Bright Orange) into the water first, then Model's Own Luis Lemon (neon yellow) and then Illamasqua's Collide (Bright, Neon Pink). I did interchange the order of the colours, but essentially, it turned out the same, with yellow giving the most coverage =D.

My Left Hand :)
My Right Hand :) Which, for once doesn't look awful! :P

A Close Up of my Left Hand :) It's all so pretty!

My Thumbs ^.^ (Left is left and Right is right...)
Considering this was my first attempt, I am actually really pleased with it. They look so pretty and summerey! XD

Tweet me your pictures if you've done this before! @JanBeautyful xxx

MUA HAUL REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATIONS +52WODN Added in :D

So when MUA had their recent 3for2 offer (online and instore) I bought a little haul as I love the products I already owned from them and wanted to try out more :)

My Lil' Haul :') x
I bought the Undress me too Palette, Dusk til Dawn Palette, Matte Perfect Loose Powder, Matte Perfect Foundation, Matte Perfect Primer, Cover concealer, pro-base eye primer, gel eyeliner in tribe and Alexandra Burke's Lip Boom in - .

Overall, I am so pleased with this haul. With P&P I spent around £25 so, it's so worth it. Here's my opinion on everything I bought....

Matte Perfect Primer: Is JUST LIKE BENEFIT's Porefessional! I don't think I've ever been so excited. Ok, it doesn't make pores vanish but it's a very similar formula-matte and pretty :') Will be fine on any skin tone as it blends to transparent. At just £4 though, you get 15ml (porefessional's only 22ml) meaning it's not a huge amount less but the Price difference is something a lot more noticeable! Ok, so, it maybe doesn't make makeup last as long as porefessional but my face did last at least 12hours.
Overall rating: B (a little more time saving on my foundation and it'd be an A)

The Matte Perfect Foundation: So. Fantastic. I am very impressed with this foundation (especially considering the price-£2!) It's coverage is medium-heavy on the first application! It applies smoothly and blends well, my only jibe is that it's the lightest colour available and it's too dark :/ I am not sure if this was worse by oxidising but it's such a shame as it's a lovely foundation! It looked expensive & really gorgeous! Overall: B (would've been an A if the shade had been correct)
Just the Matte Primer & Foundation-apologies for my awful hair! :S
Matte Loose Powder: £2.30. This is really not worth getting. It's good at blending in but DID NOT keep my skin matte for any amount of time at all-maybe the 5 minutes it took me to get out of the house after finishing my makeup?? Very, very disappointed with this. It wasn't even like it let natural oils and glow through it just let EVERYTHING through! my skin looked so unnaturally shiny in a very short time, I think the foundation did a good job on it's own. Overall rating: E.

Cover Concealer:  £1.50. This is really lovely :') Blends really nicely, BRIGHTENS the under eye area fantastically, this may start to be my go-to under eye concealer as it doesn't crease and is easy to blend with a finger or brush (depending on my skin and my mood :P) Overall: A* -nearly my favourite product.

Pro Base Eye Primer: £2.50. This primer is a nice consistency, is coloured (very palely, but this will not affect any skin tone or shadow as it blends to see-through). The first day I used this it creased after a few hours (maybe 5) But I now think this was because I had really bad hay fever and my eyes were watering a lot, so, even my Too Faced Shadow Insurance or UD Primer Potion would've struggled through that :/ Also, today I've been wearing it since 9 this morning, it's now 3 and there's no looking like it's moving/shifting at all (this is with sleek shadows though, so, I am not sure if that'll make much of a difference). Overall: B (worth it for the money!)
Undress Me Too Palette

Undress Me Too Palette Swatches.
Undress me too Palette: Firstly, let me start off by saying-What a cute name?? And a really clever way of saying number 2! Moving on, this palette has really lovely colours in it, though I find myself yearning for a more neutral/lighter matte brown :'( That's the one addition that I think would make this palette-Ah.Ma.Zing. ya know, to blend creases seamlessly? Ahh well, I still LOVE this palette regardless...
You really cannot see the very first shadow "Naked" on my hand in my swatches and this is reflected on the eye too :( I used it to help lighten a dark crease mistake however and it worked a dream, so, maybe this is the blending companion I was looking for earlier? I do think all the other shades are to die for though and for only £4 how can you go wrong? These shades are super butterey and blendable. Well worth more than the price! (I'd compare these too Urban Decay Quality and-don't want to pay nearly £40 for the Naked Palette?? Buy MUA's Undressed Palette-EXACT DUPE. GOOGLE IT.) -if you like soft/shimmerey shades and aren't too sure on mattes go for it, it'll help you learn and build your confidence + as it's cheap you can practice over and over and not feel as though your wasting a really expensive product (like the UD Naked palettes/mac shadows). Overall rating: A (Pix Below)
Undress Me Too Palette Look
All Made Up Pretty Face :') MUA Products Used: Matte Perfect Primer,
Foundation, Loose Powder, Undress me Too Palette, Curling Mascara,
(Benefit's One Hot Minute & Sephora's Luminizing Powder).
Dusk Til Dawn Palette
Dusk Til Dawn Palette Swatches
Dusk Til Dawn Palette: This palette has some truly beautiful colours, the turquoisey (Bottom, 3rd from left) is soo beautiful. The mix of light colours is nice, they're really pretty and wearable on practically any skin tone (I've tested it on me-mixed race-my mum-english rose-and my gran-gorgeous dark Indian skin-!). Again, butterey, blendable and very affordable! -GO BUY THESE PALETTES-if you like shimmerey/high impact shadows with a few glitter shades thrown in, go for it! The Glitter shades have glitter dispersed well through out them and blend well. Please note that they're not as glitterey as UD's MoonDusts but are very pretty :). Overall rating: A

Wearing MUA's Tribe Gel Liner (MAC's Tangerine Dream
Lipstick with Dior Addict Gloss in Orange Pareo on lips)
Gel Eyeliner "Tribe": I love gel eyeliners though after buying my Bobbi Brown Shimmer ink thingy, I cannot justify buying an expensive brand gel when the Collection (formerly Collection 2000) one is fantastic. I now have this one from MUA and it's just as good as the Bobbi Brown one. Well, almost. It has beautiful pigmentation and not just that but lasted all day. I did have a slight transfer to the top of my eye but very, very little-only noticeable because I was looking to scrutinise. Overall: A
Wearing MUA's Alexandra Burke Lip Boom in LMK (Let Me Know)
Best Til Last! Alexandra Burke Lip Boom in LMK: THIS. IS. OMG. AMAZING. You have a lipstick in one end and a very bitty/chunky/glitterey gloss on the other side. The Lipstick is so pigmented and matte-Hugely Beautiful whereas the gloss is very sheer but full of glitter. It just looks so gorgeous :') I am really not that sure about the other colours but after trying this I just wanted to go out and buy them all!
Plus I found it lasted all day, I used it in my Body Image Photoshoot with Becky Hardy (which if you missed, you can catch here: http://tinyurl.com/lqkf58y ). Overall Rating: A* -My Absolute Favourite Product :')

Overall, I really like MUA as a brand you're almost guaranteed to get a good product with these. The colour payoffs are fantastic and the quality of the products is great too. I am so very impressed. Especially as I only really had nails stuff from them before (definitely recommend ANY MUA NAIL PRODUCTS!)

NOTE! I AM SO EXCITED AS MUA HAVE JUST LINKED IN WITH FASHIONISTA-ANOTHER OF MY FAVE BRANDS! (check out their site here: http://www.muastore.co.uk/)

Now: 52WODN. (as of the 5th June): Pretty Red & White Dotty :')
My Left Hand :')
I still haven't fully got a hold of my left hand's shakiness, hence the right hands' quite poor :/
My Right Hand....

I used Barry M's Gelly Shine in 9 "Pomegranate" as the base red colour and Paperchases' Nail Art Pen in White to make the dots, I then just placed them in a weird L shape on my nails :') I really liked the result-though!

Thanks so much for reading-if you got all this way! xx

Kelly's Wedding Reception, Outfit, Experience & What a gorgeous day! :') +52W.O.D.N. Add on! x x x

Well what a Beautiful Day they had to get married! I am so pleased the weather held out for them as the sun was hot and shining all day :') Kelly looked absolutely stunning in her dress and Joe looked very smart and handsome. It was lovely too as the atmosphere was relaxed, chilled out and just enjoy yourself :) This kinda vibe is exactly what you want for a summer wedding, I think ;)

So, anyway, moving onto my outfit!

My Full Outfit & Invitation :')

I ended up wearing my Black shoes with my Glass Heart Necklace and took a black medium clutch that has all this gorgeous stud detailing on it (from New Look). I also wore this ring that I bought a few days before from a market stall (up close photo down below).
My Nails were painted in Sally Hansen's Dorien Grey with an over paint of Sally Hansen's Paparazzi to add a touch of shimmer :') (Shown Directly Below).

(52 WODN) My Left Hand :)

All Makeup Products used
I always wear bareminerals during the day (very lightly, just to even out my complexion) So, when it comes to evening going-out makeup I just whack on Benefit's HFOW Liquid Foundation I am the shade (pure for sure) Ivory. I then decided it would be a good idea to try out my MUA Pro-Base eyeshadow primer. I simply wore the MUA Shade Naked from the Undress me too Palette, then contoured the eye with some of Illamasqua's Feline alone in the crease. I then lined the eye (thickly) with maybelline's Tattoo in Eternal Silver. After this I simply smudged on a bit of the MUA shade Reveal (also from Undress me too Palette) and then lined my upper lash line with Benefit's Magic Ink. Erase Paste (02) was my concealer of choice for the evening, along with my Sleek brow kit (used the wax only) and L'Oreal's Volume Million Lashes Mascara. I then lined and smudged some Benefit BadGal Waterproof in Black along my lower lash line and waterline. Finished off with YSL Touche Eclat Pen Concealer & Elf's Shimmering Facial Whip in Spotlight. *Please note, I always powder some setting/finishing powder over my makeup and this is always Green People's Powder compact* To finish, I swirled a bit of Fashionista's New York Blusher over my cheeks and I was away! (really sorry I didn't get any close ups of my eyes etc, I really didn't have the time!) ooh! And I keep on forgetting (I left it out of the photo too :L) I used Rimmel's Apocolips Lip Lacquer in Celestial :')

A Close up of my Face

I used the Pale Pink Blusher closest in the photo (bottom left)
It's the Fashionista Shade New York

I really love Fashionista's Eyeshadows and Blushers, especially this palette I made of their custom merged (baked?) Blushers, they're so pretty and shimmery :')

I used the very first shade (top left-Naked) and the 3rd shade
in (middle bottom-Reveal)

I am very impressed with this MUA Palette & The Pro Base Primer works well with it.

And, finally, my Ring I bought!
My Gorgeous Ring I bought from a stall in Eastleigh Shopping Centre!
Worth a bargain hunt, sometimes, gals!

Rianna's 18th Birthday Party, What I wore, what she wore and what we had to eat!

So, Rianna's Birthday Party was in the Courtyard Room of Winchester Guildhall, which was a very pretty room with old style door frames and all painted white. It looked lovely, she had decorated the tables with turquoise and pale green beads with a small centre piece of a bowl filled with those jelly beads (you put them in water and they expand) and in the middle held there was a little tea light :') There were also balloons of the same colourings around the room and it just had a lovely atmosphere :). The DJ was playing music I hadn't actually heard that much of but later Rianna's Boyfriend Ryan Stevens sang and played his Guitar (he is very good and worth a YouTube http://www.youtube.com/user/ryanstevens94/videos). AND THE FOOD! omg, I was so impressed, gorgeous pasta and party food-really lovely Ed & I felt very welcome :)

Anyway, moving onto my outfit! My Jane Norman £1 Dress!

My Full Outfit & Invitation :D

I didn't wear a necklace, just like I said however, unlike it looks I didn't have my hair in a bun, it was in a high pony tail with this side detailing I did :)
I wore the gold large ring with the purple detailing on it (picture below)
I used this purple cross the shoulder bag (it's quite long actually hence it looks like it's bending round me :P)
All Makeup Products I used.

Unfortunately I left out the primer I used from the photo! (Idiot!) so FYI, I used Benefit's Dr. Feelgood, slathered all over my face :P and then did my eye makeup. I didn't use a primer for my eyes as I patted on Maybelline's Color Tattoo in - and these bases NEVER budge haha! I then using a small fluffy brush took Illamasqua's Inception and fluffed this in a long the crease line and blended out (there was a harsh difference now as I hadn't blended it all yet). Using my ELF 100 colour palette I used 2 shadows (highlighted below) by taking the slightly pinkier one and patting it on my inner half of my lid, then the more purpley shade and blending that lightly over everything on the eye. Next I took my Bourjois Clubbing Liner in - and smoothed this along the top lashline and winged out to sides. I then took my Sleek Eau La Liner in White Noise and lined my bottom waterline, inner eye corner, bottom lashline and winged it out under the bourjois' flicks I'd done-then applied the Fearne Cotton Liner in Purple over the bottom lashline and waterline white I'd just done then smudged it all in to make sure it wasn't really harsh. Lastly (for the eyes) I used the shade "you alone" from the Kat Von D Poetica Palette as a highlight under my brow bone and blended into the purple. After finishing this I buffed Benefit's HFOW Liquid Foundation into my skin with a big duo fibre brush and then applied Maybelline the rocket volume mascara :') (I really do love this mascara :D). Lastly, I contoured my cheekbones with Benefit's Hoola and then applied my normal setting powder down the centre of my face (Green People's Compact Powder :) ). -ooh! and I almost forgot I used a Gosh Eyebrow Pencil for my brows and MAC's Viva Glam Gaga 1 Lipstick :') -woah. I need to start writing this down as I am going along!

A Close-up of my Pretty Eyes, Man I really Love Purple! <3
I used the deep pinky shade (above the turquoises-2nd from left) and the deep
purple next to it on the right :)

This Elf Palette is quite hit and miss with shadows, I've taken to labelling the front with ticks (if the shadows really nice), nothing if it's ok and a big red cross (if it's terrible). Overall, I do really like it and for the cheap price I definitely think it's worth a purchase :)

I used the last shade in the palette called "you alone"

I absolutely adore this palette. If I ever go into a Sephora again I vow to buy all of the Kat Von D Palettes. The shadows are gorgeous, I have a blush too :')

My shoes!

I bought this gorgeous pair of shoes from T.K.Maxx literally the day before the party as they were in the sale for £8 and they're ever so comfy! Very Pleased :D

My Ring and Bag Close Up :)

Here's a close up of my bag and ring :)
I really think the colour of the shoes and bag was well matched, so that's always good!

Ryan & Rianna :')

To finish, I must say Rianna's Dad's speech was so full of love and laughter and I cannot think of anybody as sweet as Rianna. Now she's 18 we will have to go dancing ;) and I think between her and her boyfriend Ryan, there's so much talent it's incredible. They'll both go so far and deserve too :') xxx

And as you can see <<< she looked lush-just liked I said she would ;) x
