Kelly's Hen Do: Neon+POPworld+woowoos=Good Night ;)

Following my ideas of what products I was going to use to create the look of La Neon, This is my Post on what I actually ended up using and a few photos of my outfit etc. :P
We did have such a fun filled night with massive woowoos and pure cheeseyyy 90s music >.< and of course, everyone in neon...

My eyes:
I ended up using this bright neon greeney/yellow (almost exactly the same colour as the wig:P)  I took a close up of the colours in the palette and I'll give a good description of which ones I used :) with MAC's Bare Study Paint Pot as a nice neutral base (to help the colour payoff and staying power of the powder shadows)The Black Eyeliner is LOOK Beauty's Flirty Flick Liquid Liner (also pictured below) And I used Rimmel's Scandaleyes Mascara as it's the best for upping and voluminising your lashes without removing any previous stuff on your lashes :)

I used (from row above the bottom orange) The shade 4 from left in and not the next shade, but the next one after that! :P

My Face:
I just went over the makeup I had on from throughout the whole day (BareMinerals Foundation etc) I buffed in Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation (In shade "I am pure for sure, Ivory") all over my face and when happy with that went over it with a dusting of Mary Kay's Powder Mineral Powder Foundation (In Shade Ivory 1) both, pictured below. I also used Benefit's Perk Up Artist Palette to conceal, brighten & correct etc. I then used MAC's Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle on my cheekbones to act as my highlight.

So, would I return to POPworld? Probably not hahaaa, wasn't my favouritist music in the world but the drinks were nice & the company made it the best night to be honest! :') x

Kelly's Hen Do on Sat, Outfit, Makeup, Nails, THE LOT.

Kelly's Hen Night is this Saturday! (WOOO!) I am a little excited. Her theme is Neon. I kid you not, Neon. Here's my ideas for my makeup & a picture of my outfit (and, it's not on because I don't want to ruin the full effect :P).

 So, This is the Idea/design I came up with :P

Hen Do Neon Design I call it: La Neon.

 And these are all the products I found (that I own) That I thought would be suitable for creating a look along those lines...

(from Left - Right) LOOK's "Flirty Flick" L:iquid Eyeliner (amazing stuff that doesn't budge!!) Model's Own "Luis Lemon" #137 Nail Polish, Barry M "Dazzle Dust" #76, Barry M "Fine Glitter Dust" #10, Lush Cosmetics' Cream Eyeshadow in "Lifted", Illamasqua's "Eurydice" Lipstick, Pop Beauty's "orange" eyeliner pencil, Hello Kitty "Starry Lipgloss" & The False Lashes are (eyelure's) Katy Perry's Self Adhesive "Darling" 's.

 I then also found these! (don't know whyyy I didn't look in my Sleek drawer first!?)



The Pout Polish is "Lemon Meringue" (but is not available anymore and dissapointingly doesn't smell like lemon meringue :P). It's actually not as pigmented as I was hoping! -But I'll mix some of the Barry M Dusts into it and then we'll be talking! ;) .



I also like the look of the eyeshadow slightly hidden behind it "Sand Dollar" from the relatively new Lagoon Palette. Doesn't that pink next to it look gorgeous? I can't wait to sink my teeth into that design ;) (I very often like to pick a square of the palette, act likes that the only quad I own and try and come up with a cool mix-Works a treat when you're in need of inspiration!)




And finally, I completely forgot I own a 168 colour palette! (Thank you Guy! ;) ) Opened it up and found this whole line of GEMS!
