Birthday LOTD & Beauty Haul!

My Birthday was Monday the 7th of April! Thank you for the messages & cards, I had a lovely relaxed day with some shopping ;) a cute lil' afternoon tea with Ed & his family and went out for Wagamama's in the evening with my family which was so lovely-if you've never been..why not!?
And just to let you know, I am NOT obsessed with the colour pink, despite how it may seem after you see the pictures :P

My Full Face :)

Ma Pink n White EYes

Products used for this look :)
Nyx Jumbo pencil in milk as my base (to really make the white and pink pop), Sugarpill "Tako" for the white shadow, Sugarpill "Dollipop" & Concrete Minerals " " eyeshadows for the pink, LOOK Beauty Mono shadow in "Gilet" as my transitional crease colour to make the look that lil' more wearable ;) .
Tarte "Exposed" Blush (as I didn't want to go with a too sweet look with pink cheeks as well!!) & Nars "Copacabana" multiple for my highlighter. Benefit "Gimme Brow" was ran through my brows and They're Real was gracing my lashes. MAC's Viva Glam "Gaga 1" was on my lips (and I don't think I've ever actually made that colour work quite as well as that, so that went really well!). I was going to wear falsies but I just couldn't bring myself to look THAT fake >.<, especially as Ed's grandparents' were coming :P

My LUSCIOUS Kat Von D Shoes <3

My Full Outfit

My Dress is called "Glamour Guts" by Iron Fist Clothing (hopefully they will start up their UK site again soon!?) and I kinda wish I bought it in a medium instead of large as it's a tad loose and I would've preferred it a bit more hugging ;)

My Shoes are Kat Von D (sorry I have no idea what model) but I actually got them really reduced at a random outlet shop before Christmas!

Anyhoo! Onto the BEAUTY HAUL (which I know is why most of you are here ;))

HAUL!
So, I am sure you can probably guess what everything is but I shall list anyways:
-MAC Colour Correct Compact (Yellow)
-MAC Hoop Lipstick (Matte, from By Request Collection)
-MAC Prep & Prime Radiance Primer (sample)
-MAC Myth Lipstick (Satin, from permanent line)
-Lime Crime Uniliner in Rhyme
-Lime Crime Uniliner in Reason
-Lime Crime Coquette Lipstick
-Lime Crime Styletto Lipstick
-Lime Crime Cosmopop Lipstick
-Duo Dark lash glue (from Cocktail Cosmetics)
-Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette!
-Real Techniques kabuki brush

(L-R) Hoop, Myth, Styletto, Coquette, Cosmopop

I am so in love with the products from Lime Crime I am going to HAVE to try some more! Coquette is such a beautiful colour (I have worn it tonnes already) and I can't wait to wear Styletto somewhere too! I have already tried the silver uniliner (I believe that one is called Reason) and it's staying power is fantastic and it's buildable in pigment too!

And contrary to what I thought, I do actually really like the Naked 3 palette! I find it works nicely for day to day wear-kinda wish it had a couple more lighter/creamier shades though, find I am using my Naked Basics in conjunction with it quite a lot. But nonetheless the shadows are still high quality, butterey and smooth to blend :)

I shall do some more updates on the products as I use them!

As you can see I was well & truly spoilt! I had such a lovely day and I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post! See you in the next one! :) x x x

Pin Up/Rockabilly LOTD inspired by Punky Pins!

You know those days when you're really down and you just want something to just pick you up a little bit? Well, I thought that Riri Woo maybe the answer-and it was!
But that wasn't the only thing inspiring me to look a tad pinup-esque though-It may have something to do with my good ol' friends from PunkyPins and the necklace I got from them!

My Necklace <3
So, I am sorry this is so soppy and throw-ey up-ey but this is the only thing I have ever bought that is personalised to and Ed & I because I normally hate things like that, I think it's self-obsessed and not nice but there was something about this necklace that I was just like..."Yeah, I really like that!" Possibly because on the site they use John & Yoko and Elvis & Marie as examples and those are couples that were quite glamorized, so perhaps that's why I liked it :P You can choose from 3 colours but seeing as I don't have very much Green based jewellery I thought this would be a good choice :) You can find that necklace here: http://www.punkypins.co.uk/name-necklaces-c6/double-name-leopard-heart-necklace-p1093

My Full Face :)
Anyway, moving back onto my face look! I just had really plain, good coverage skin and my Riri Woo gracing my lips, for my eyes I used Benefit's Foiled Cream shadow (which was limited edition but down below I have swatched a colour you can get that's exactly the same) all over my lid, Lined my eyes with liquid liner & topped off my lips with H&M's lipgloss in red.

All Products Used.

So there ya go, Pinup styles like this are generally very simple, but very effective! They look so fantastic and once you're not shy of the liner technique-they're very easy to create in little amounts of time :)

Dupe for Foiled!

So, the dupe I found for Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in Foiled was Bareminerals pressed powder eyeshadow in Ooh Lala. Foiled has a slight more sheen due to the cream texture but apart from that they have the same metallic and mauve mix in them, plus I am really getting into Bareminerals shadows as they are ever so creamy and blendy :3

Hope you guys like this LOTD!? Why not give it a +1? ;) x x x

February Wishlist!

So I can't come up with a different monthly favourites but, I am very aware of some things I REALLY want but either just can't justify the money/not necessary purchase or I just haven't got round to getting yet as it's never in stock when I go shopping or whatevers, you know what it's like ;)

I have gone in Cheapest-Dearest as I thought that might be a handy order (Also! I apologise for the Screenshots but I don't have these products so I kinda had too!)

First up! Revlon Colorstay Concealer, I love the foundation so I would like to try this concealer out, heard good things about this and read some good reviews...but kinda not enough of them to make the purchase!

Next up (and this is after Emily Noel-from Beauty Broadcast Express-went through and gave some ideas for Naked3 drugstore colours) is the L'Oreal Color Riche Quad in Eau de Rose. Now the only reason I am not wearing this everyday is because a long time ago I bought one of these and I don't know if it was faulty but it had absolutely no pigmentation whatsoever....So, that's why-even after swatching, I cannot buy this yet.

Topshop's Stippling Brush: I never go into Topshop, purely because I cannot afford half the things in there but more and more YouTubers & BBloggers I follow are talking about their makeup and I thought well I might have a sneaky peak on their site and just clocked eyes with this. I am not joking I think this is love at first sight. But I haven't seen or heard anything about it yet so I'll just wait till I do, as I am not paying the postage on top! I am such a scringer! Haha!

Bit more of a step up in price, Blanc Type eyeshadow from MAC. My favourite under brow highlight (matte) colour is Cream Coloured Ponies from the Too Faced Christmas A few of my favourite things palette and I think that this is going to be pretty close. I do plan on taking that palette to my local MAC counter and asking them to just GIVE ME the closest colour as I NEED IT! Haha!

And, lastly, again I am looking for a MAC dupe, but it's a dupe of a MAC product! The Lady Gaga Viva Glam 2 Lipstick is my absolute favourite Nude and I cannot get NYX Circe lipstick over here easily, so when I was last at MAC I asked the lady and she asked me to bring back my tube so we could have a little search together (when I do this I also plan on taking it to Boots & Superdrug and doing the same there, so I'll do a post on it :)).

So those are my February Wishlist products and I'll see you guys soon, up next I think I have a LOTD! Please note that where I've just changed my job I've gone from working Part Time normal hours to working Full Time shifts so it's taking me time to learn everything in my new job and get my schedule sorted but I am getting there and hope you guys think I am doing well juggling it all!

I love you all and will see you in the next post ;) x x x

Valentine's Day Looks Day to Night, Part 2-High End!

So if you didn't see Part 1 you can here: http://tinyurl.com/oth3cg7

And this is Part 2! More Higher End products used here and I kinda didn't pick overly pinkey things for this one either so if you didn't like the pink overload-this might be for you!

My Full Face Day Look!
Bit more smileyy in this post :P
Ma Eyes
As you can see this look is a bit more pin up-esque than the pinkey candy looks from part 1. Similarly from the day look in part 1, I left brows alone for the day look to look more natural :).

Stand Out Products!
The stand out products for this are the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (main shadows used are WOS, Naked2 and Faint, lil' bit of Venus on brow bone), Illamasqua Abyss Liquid Liner (my absolute Favourite Black Liquid Eyeliner <3), Benefit Thrrrob blush & Posiepal (Posietint on one end and California Kissin' on the other), Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara (makes for really pwetty curly lashes :3) and Nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk (I know this isn't high end really but it just makes the naked basics shadows pop so well :')).

Night Look, My Whole Face and a cheeky Ed in the background!

My Eyess!
For the eyes I pretty much left them the same all I did was added a black glitter liner over the top (which unfortunately hasn't shown up that well on camera :/) and lashings of They're Real mascara from Benefit on the top & bottom lashes.

Stand Out Products...
So the stand out products here had to be Nars Gaiety blush and Mac's mineralize skinfinish (I used Star Wonder from the heavenly creatures collection but this is just to represent the shimmerey goodness of any mineralize skinfinish ;)). Collection's Glam Crystals (now, I know this isn't high end but I didn't have any high end that could be used easily so I just went with it.) Benefit's Instant Brow Pencil (which really is very instant, you literally brush it through once and you're good to go!) and MAC's Insanely It Cremesheen lipstick which is just a hot raspberry pink colour (and as it's a cremesheen it's moisturising and soft too :3, perfect if you're going in for a smooch :P).

So that was Part 2 my high end day to night looks for Valentine's 2014! Similarly to part 1 all products in the night time look were just popped on top of the products from the day time so you can just come home and whack 'em on and go!

I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's whether it's going out for a super romantic meal, just spending the night in with your other half or even going out and celebrating your single status! Have fun out there!

Much Love and please keep an eye out for my Highlighting & Contour Post to be up soon!

January Favourites! Featuring Beauty, Horsey Apparel, Food...

So I am really, really getting into my blogging this year! I just want to share with you all my thoughts and experiences with stuff and so thought another good way would be monthly (or every other monthly :P) favourites!

So let's kick off with the Beauty stuffs!

Cargo Blush
First thing is this blush from Cargo, I got this in a set for Christmas from my mum and I LOVE this blush, it gives you a gorgeous bronzed/peachey glow and looks so natural yet divine! It also lasts a good amount of wear and tear time too-Bonus!

Cargo Eyeshadow duo
Next up is this eyeshadow duo from Cargo and these two colours, just...ahh...the just blend so perfectly together and look so natural and pretty on my lids, I like to pop the brown on my outer lid half/through the crease and the pink as a highlight under the brow bone and on the inner corner. It's just the perfect duo for my skintone.

MAC Zoomlash in Lofty Brown

This mascara is just great. It gives your lashes amazing length, thickness-not so great curl! But curl your lashes before and you're good to go! Don't over do it on this mascara though as your lashes will clump up horribly!! The dark smokey brown colour is great and looks very smart. This mascara will last until you take it off and isn't overly difficult to take off.

Lush's Cream Shadow in Sophisticated
These cream shadows from lush are great! They have a lovely shimmery finish and last all day with no base/primer! I particularly love to use this under my Cargo eye duo!

Swatches so far...
Swatches above are (Top L-R): Lush Cream Shadow in Sophisticated, the Brown side and then Pink side of the Cargo eyeshadow duo. (Bottom L-R): All 4 stripes of the Cargo Blush-separately, then MAC's Zoomlash.

Illamasqua's Sheer Lipgloss in Artiface
I forgot to pop this in the first picture/swatches etc so had to add it in :P This Lipgloss starts off as incredibly pigmented and then tones down to a more sheer finish, as the name states. I love this colour though in the picture it looks more pink, in real life it's incredibly creamy peach colour.

Illamasqua Swatch...
And last in the Beauty category is this by Nivea...the In-Shower Body Moisturiser (for Normal skin). Now, working at the stables means I am either freezing cold with the natural weather, rained on or sat with a blow heating blowing really hot air into my face (which I know is bad but when you're THAT cold, you'll do anything >.<) and once I come home I jump straight in the shower do all normal things (you want to use your normal gel before this) and finish with slathering this all over my body. I am soooo lazy and cannot be asked to sit there after my shower dry myself and apply moisturiser and then be sticky for ages. YUCK. This is so light, doesn't feel greasy and keeps my skin so moisturised and soft <3 I LOVE it and have bought like 5 bottles whilst it's been on half price offer in boots!

Yankee Candle Scent-Fireside Treats
I HAD to include this as I am not a big candle/scent fan but this smell....Oh My. I bought it in a tart originally and had to go back and buy the whole range!! It smells DIVINE. It smells sweet but not overly so with a hint of muskiness....oh how I adore it, if you can go have a whiff at your local retailer. I am so in love.
M&S Medjool Dates
M&S Medjool Dates
Now I am fully into my health kick I have found out some things I really love and some now so much...but these Medjool dates are so moorish, I have two when I am really craving some kind of spongy pudding. They're sweet, just ever so slightly sticky and the texture is thick and loving (in a way!).

What's in the box...?
BOOTS!
So Hampshire Saddlery were having a sale and I got these boots for just £65 and they are LUSH I have spent like...maybe an hour (various bits of time added together that is) just staring at how gorgeous and beautiful these boots are and I cannot wait to take Apollo somewhere so I can look all smart and wear them!!

So those were my January favourites, I cannot believe how quick January has gone by and what scares me more is that February is a super short month! Did you guys like this post? If so, why not Retweet it? ;) x x x

New Years Resolutions and What I wore to the Christmas Party

So as it's getting nearer and nearer to 2014...HOORAY! (cannot wait for 2013 to be over!)
I am thinking more about what I'd like to challenge myself to do for the first bit of the year-haha!

1) I've decided that I'd like to lose a stone. I love my body and it's not from an image point of view, but more from a health angle, so one stone to lose and keep off-I shall be doing blog posts about this perhaps once a month as I am really not going to be doing as a quick harsh diet change, I'd like to do it as healthily and steadily so I can make the changes more permanent. I did used to be the quite the butterball child and hate to think that even though I've evened out a bit more, that I am unhealthy-the main issue is exercise as opposed to an unhealthy diet-But we shall see what my plan becomes :)

2) Project Hit-Pan! So, I am sure you've seen a lot of other bloggers/youtubers etc do this tag or project. It's when you don't buy anymore makeup (oh dear god, I nearly choked on my gum typing it!) and try to aim to use up what you already have-which is quite a lot for me, so I think this is a good idea. I'll be doing once-monthly posts about this as well so I ACTUALLY stick to it!

3) DO at least 5 Good Deeds a week. I do feel as though I work hard already, but by good deeds I mean, making someones day-I mean like giving an old person your seat, helping someone who's car's broken down all sorts of nice, Selfless acts. I plan on making like a little checklist in my Filofax for each week to remind me :P

4) Maintain my brows more often! I do work on my brows and try to keep them groomed, between one to two months at a time as they don't grow too fast but they do need an upkeep more often I feel! Trim, pluck etc, quick lil' brow shape up!

So I think these goals are pretty achievable, they always say your goals need to be Achievable, with a good Time limit/Quantity

Next up is my makeup and nails for the HRTC Christmas Party!

Ma full FACEY!

My EYES O.o

All products used just chucked on my vanity... (sorry bout that >.<)

My Karla Chart I did as a guide...

I have a couple more posts before the end of this year including my 2013 Beauty Favourites! So be sure to stick around guys, thanks for all your support and if I don't post before, have a very Merry Christmas!

Much Love,

Tasha x x x

LOTD The very start of Fall looks for me!

So this week's LOTD is my first of my fall/autumn looks, purple and smokey it's perfect for this time of year :')
My Full W I D E face :P

I don't know why but this photo made my face look particularly wide! haha, oh well! I used a fair few different eye products to get this look but its worth noting it stayed put and looked lovely all day! This was also the first time I have used the Sleek Vintage Romance Palette & Antique Blush and I LOVE them! They're both so perfectttt for this time of year :')-Good Job Sleek! I also used a Mac Mineralized eyeshadow...can't say I am in love with these but I do like the glitterey-ness :P And Illamasqua's Depravity made a lovely base for the look.
I am wearing the B.Beautiful foundation mixed with the Body Shop's illuminator (can't buy this anymore). Ooh! And it's really noticeable in the photograph how gorgeous Benefit's Lemon-Aid is under the eye! -Look how smoothed out and fresh it looks there! <3
I am still loving MaxFactor's Wild Mega Volume Mascara and finished the look with MUA Lip Boom in Vibe, which is their nude-iest/most natural colour :)

My Purple Smoked out eyes

All Products used for this look!

So, this is my first fall look! Did you like it? What do you think of the new Sleek Vintage Romance Palette & Antique Blush? Did you pick them up? x x x

2.9.13 Look of the Day-Peachey Keen for a lunch out with ma boys...

So I bought this new coral coloured dress and decided that a peachy makeup look would be just the thing to compliment it! Plus, peach makeup makes for a really nice cute day look that looks like you've made quite the effort :)

My Full Face and apologies for the awkward awful face I was pulling...unfortunately this was the best picture :S
My eyes o.O
So, to create this pwetty peachy look I used Cliniques' Lid Smoothie in the colour Bare Honey...? (something like that-it's worn off :/) as my base as this thing doesn't crease and will lighten the orange colour of L'Oreal's Magnetic Coral Color Infallible shadow :) I then worked a small amount of Fearne's black liner pencil into my lash lines and finished the eyes with some Maybelline The Rocket Volume mascara. For my face I used MAC's mineralized skinfinish in Adored (from the Tropical Taboo collection) and Milani Sunset Duo in number 02. On my lips I used a combo (god bless you Nicole Guerriero for giving me that idea!) of Accessorizes' Lipstick and a B. Lip Gloss :)
Products Used to create this pwetty look :3
So here's a sneak peak at the colour of my dress (store21) and my Necklace (New look)

Annnddd! I just HAD To share with you my cutsey shoes I bought from TK Maxx! I am so in love with them and they were only £14.99, Bargain! -plus, they're really comfy :3 x x x
ermaghadddd :'D
