52WODN Last Installment of 3WeekFruitFest.....PINEAPPLES XD

XD <this kinda looks like a pineapple, no? haha, well it's the last week in my 3week Fruit fest!
And I cannot lie I have really enjoyed making it! Next time I pick a theme to run with I may do 4 or 5 weeks as once I had finished this last one I came up with so many other ideas! :P

Ahh well, to get this Pineapple inspired look all you need is a Steady Hand and Barry M's Textured Nail Paint in Station Rd, Model's Own Lemon Meringue Nail Polish, Claire's Accessories Glitter layer in Orange and a Orange Nail Art Pen :)

52WODN 29.7.13 Monster Green with all the anticipation for ARTPOP.

This week (well...today >.< ) I wanted something really quick and easy as after shopping for lots of Birthday presents today (gosh, August is a busy Birthday month!) I was so tired and just wanted to type some reviews etc and go to bed :P

So, I chose Illamasqua's Radium and Model's Own Hedkandi Ibiza Mix Glitter polishes to make something quick and still Glam! Radium's a really summery lime green and the glitter just makes it party ready :P

52 Weeks of Delicious Nails 10.6.13 First Attempt at the whole Water thingy...

I was YouTube surfing, as I very often do to avoid revision, and I found myself looking at Nail Polish collections and then clicked onto a video about "Water Marble Manicure"... y'know what these are, when you get a cup of water, tape around your fingers, drop your nail polish in the water and swirl your nail in and you end up with a totes gorge marbled nail. Well, this is actually a bit difficult than it looks-to get something that looks nice anyway :P

To be fair, I only had to re-do two nails, so I wasn't too bad at it >.<

I used Barry M's Nail Paint number 66 -a complete white shade, for the base colour & then dropped in Model's Own Beach Party (a Bright Orange) into the water first, then Model's Own Luis Lemon (neon yellow) and then Illamasqua's Collide (Bright, Neon Pink). I did interchange the order of the colours, but essentially, it turned out the same, with yellow giving the most coverage =D.

Kelly's Hen Do on Sat, Outfit, Makeup, Nails, THE LOT.

Kelly's Hen Night is this Saturday! (WOOO!) I am a little excited. Her theme is Neon. I kid you not, Neon. Here's my ideas for my makeup & a picture of my outfit (and, it's not on because I don't want to ruin the full effect :P).

 So, This is the Idea/design I came up with :P

Hen Do Neon Design I call it: La Neon.

 And these are all the products I found (that I own) That I thought would be suitable for creating a look along those lines...

(from Left - Right) LOOK's "Flirty Flick" L:iquid Eyeliner (amazing stuff that doesn't budge!!) Model's Own "Luis Lemon" #137 Nail Polish, Barry M "Dazzle Dust" #76, Barry M "Fine Glitter Dust" #10, Lush Cosmetics' Cream Eyeshadow in "Lifted", Illamasqua's "Eurydice" Lipstick, Pop Beauty's "orange" eyeliner pencil, Hello Kitty "Starry Lipgloss" & The False Lashes are (eyelure's) Katy Perry's Self Adhesive "Darling" 's.

 I then also found these! (don't know whyyy I didn't look in my Sleek drawer first!?)



The Pout Polish is "Lemon Meringue" (but is not available anymore and dissapointingly doesn't smell like lemon meringue :P). It's actually not as pigmented as I was hoping! -But I'll mix some of the Barry M Dusts into it and then we'll be talking! ;) .



I also like the look of the eyeshadow slightly hidden behind it "Sand Dollar" from the relatively new Lagoon Palette. Doesn't that pink next to it look gorgeous? I can't wait to sink my teeth into that design ;) (I very often like to pick a square of the palette, act likes that the only quad I own and try and come up with a cool mix-Works a treat when you're in need of inspiration!)




And finally, I completely forgot I own a 168 colour palette! (Thank you Guy! ;) ) Opened it up and found this whole line of GEMS!

(Sang elegantly) Sun, Sun, Sun, Here it comes! :')
With the glorious sunshine sweeping over the south (and a much, much better self :P) I decided it was time to un-cage the feet! Let them BREATHE and be paste-y white no more! And...who could wear cute diamante-ed sandals (from Primani ;) ) Without painting the toes? :O
I used Model's Own Nail Polish (which is apparently a "Matt Effect"-I had no top coat on :S) in the colour "Pukka Purple" #158.
I love using these nail polishes as they are so pigmented and instantly cover the nail with a good solid colour & finish that lasts well.
